Rose des Champs

self-care-routine-well-being-love-roses

It’s that time of the year; windows sealed, doors shut and the heat is cranked. Cracked, flaky, dry skin is in the house, literally! These mid-winter vibes beg for nothing more than a hydrating, calming, proven well-being routine. Luckily, there is one product that can tackle all the seasonal blues.

You guessed it-ROSES!

Adding rose water and rose serum to your daily and nightly skincare routines have proven results with anti-aging and antioxidant properties while doing the most important job-keeping that skin ultra-moisturized. Its aromatic properties are also super-calming and help in reducing stress and anxiety. Not only is it the safest, proven, natural skincare ingredient but it can be used on any skin type:

Dry and/or sensitive skin; Anti-inflammatory & reducing redness
Combination or Oily skin; Natural astringent & oil control

How to add Rose Water to your routine?

To combat dry skin and soften the appearance of wrinkles for any skin type, look no further than rose water. In a convenient spray bottle, all you need to do to begin reaping its benefits is a mist or two directly onto your face, morning and night (and who are we to stop you from doing it more often!) after washing your face. Don’t forget to do it after washing though, as to allow the rose water to fully penetrate and work its magic to full potential.

Next step: Rose Serum!

After your face is washed and misted with rose water, you’re now ready for the rose serum application. Rose serum should go on after these steps as if put on before, the serum will reduce the ability of the rose water to penetrate your skin. Our concentrated rose serum, a blend of organic jojoba oil and Quebec rose petals, is again beneficial on any skin type to help lock in moisture, with vitamin A stimulating cell turnover to help produce collagen and vitamin C directly stimulating collagen production, lightening sun/dark spots, wrinkles and scars.

Top it off with a Rosehip Tea

Now that your face is hydrated and shiny, there’s no better way to wind down than curling up with a cozy mug of rosehip tea. Not only is the rose plant amazing for topical purposes, but ingesting it also has an extensive list of benefits including boosting your immune system, soothing a sore throat, and reducing internal inflammation. You can view our blog post here for a more comprehensive look at the benefits of rosehip tea.
